I primarily work with adults ages 26+ who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and difficulties with relationships and emotional regulation.
Following my doctoral degree, I pursued a two-year fellowship to specialize in working with children and their parents, guardians, or adoptive families. The training integrated applied research and clinical practices that are trauma informed.
I apply my knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care to helping adults with adverse childhood experiences and complex PTSD.
By helping parents and would-be-parents heal from their trauma, I hope to indirectly help more children heal from the impacts of their parent's mental health struggles. I also hope to help shift relationship dynamics and learned coping behaviors that are often repeated through multiple generations.
I hold specialized training in perinatal mental health disorders, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.
I speak English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
I have over a decade of experience in providing psychotherapy.
