About
How is Dr. Emily P. Chen different from other therapists?
I primarily work with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, relationship problems, and other symptoms of childhood trauma in adulthood.
Following my doctoral degree, I pursued a two-year fellowship to specialize in working with children and parents. The training integrated theories, applied research, and clinical practices that are trauma focused and neurobiologically informed.
I apply my knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care to helping adults with childhood trauma.
I am an LGBTQ-affirming therapist.
I speak English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
I have over 11 years of experience in providing psychotherapy.
